Which barrel size should I choose?
120-litre barrel
A smaller option when you have fewer items to send or want a more manageable barrel to fill and move.

How to measure your barrel
Measure the barrel in the condition it will be collected, including the secured lid.
Record its total height and widest outside diameter in centimetres. Include any rim or protruding fittings.
Provide the barrel size, number of barrels, destination, UK collection postcode and any other items for an accurate quote.
For reference, the space a round barrel occupies can be estimated as π × (outside diameter ÷ 2)² × outside height, with all measurements in metres. The transport charge may follow a different pricing method; please use your written quote for the actual price.
Getting your barrel ready for shipping
- Use a sound barrel and a lid that closes securely. Check reconditioned barrels carefully before packing.
- Pack heavier items at the bottom, distribute weight evenly, and protect fragile contents.
- Keep an itemised list of contents and avoid overfilling so the lid can close properly.
- Label the barrel clearly with sender and recipient details as instructed when you book.
- Check with us before packing restricted, hazardous, perishable or liquid goods. Acceptance and customs requirements vary by destination.

Send us its outside height, widest diameter and a photo. We can confirm whether we can accept it and provide a suitable quote.
